Trivandrum - 2018

I took buses, planes, trains, boats and automobiles all over Kerala – from the north in Kanhangad to the south in Trivandrum. And there is still so much more to Kerala that I’ve yet to see and explore. Kerala itself is vast and it’s a relatively small state by India standards. This is an example of a first-class train car. No frills. And had to use some interesting Spiderman maneuvers while attempting to use that train toilet. It’s harder than you might think as a woman - to aim down a hole while a train is barreling along!

Taking these planes and trains, I made it all the way down to the very southern part of Kerala – to Trivandrum. An area known for its beaches. There I met up with my dear friend and Ayurveda soul brother Dr. Tanmay. We stayed at an Ayurvedic resort there called Travancore Heritage, which was very beautiful and peaceful. And stopped to say hi to some of the luckiest cows ever, cows that actually live on the beach!
